K’s World of Music
The Music Scene in Second Life

I love music.
And I love what happens when music takes over – when it stops being something we hear and becomes something we feel.
Some DJs have a rare sense for that moment.
They guide a crowd, read the room, and build a journey that lifts people out of everyday noise and into a shared state of mind. When energy flows both ways – from DJ to crowd and back – something special happens. That is the moment I care about.
This blog is dedicated to DJs who create exactly that.
Here you will find curated DJ portraits, music links, and selected insights into their work and sound. Clubs appear naturally through the artists who play there – because strong scenes are built by people, not by places alone.
I do not book DJs.
I do not manage clubs.
I curate, observe, and connect through music.
K’s World of Music is meant as a reference point – a space to discover DJs, follow their paths, and keep music visible beyond single events or fleeting moments.
Music connects us.
Music heals.
Music moves.
And yes – when I need it raw and intense, I will always turn to good techno.
For me, it is not just sound. It is reset. It is energy. It is life.
Hope to see you in Second Life.
K

Guideline for DJs

K’s World of Music is a curated project.
I feature DJs I have personally listened to in Second Life – artists who actively play in-world and create a musical atmosphere that stays with me beyond a single set.
There is no application process.
DJs appear here because I experienced their music live and felt a consistent level of musical quality, flow, and connection to the crowd.
This space is not about numbers, promotion, or trends.
It is about presence, musical awareness, and the ability to create moments through sound.
If you find yourself here, it means your music spoke for itself.

Non-Profit & Independence

K’s World of Music is a non-profit project.
There is no payment, sponsorship, or financial agreement involved – neither from DJs nor from clubs.
Being featured here does not represent a commercial endorsement, booking recommendation, or quality seal in a business sense.
I do not influence bookings, fees, or visibility.
Any recognition a DJ may receive happens naturally through listeners, clubs, and the scene itself – not through me.
This space exists purely out of passion for music and the desire to keep meaningful DJ work visible within the Second Life music scene.

I have been actively spinning for over three years in SL. I have a fixed schedule and nearly 200 mixcloud sets to date. How do I do about getting listed here? Thanks!
